These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) and Ora Labs, Inc. ("Ora Labs," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the Voice Page mobile application, website, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.
1.1 You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
1.2 An account is required to begin recording. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.
2.1 Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data and forms part of these Terms. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices.
2.2 Some analytics data and voice recordings (e.g., crash logs, anonymized usage) may be transmitted to our servers or trusted sub‑processors as described in the Privacy Policy.
3.1 Ora Labs grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable, non‑transferable license to download and use the Service for personal, non‑commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
3.2 All software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other materials in the Service ("Ora Content") are owned by Ora Labs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license granted above, no rights are transferred or licensed to you.
4.1 "User Content" means the voice recordings, annotations, or other data you input into the Service.
4.2 You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. By creating User Content, you grant Ora Labs a worldwide, royalty‑free, sublicensable license to store, process, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
4.3 You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or transmitting it. Do not share content that violates any law or infringes third‑party rights.
5.1 The basic Service is free. We may offer premium features through auto‑renewing in‑app subscriptions. Prices, billing periods, and renewal terms are displayed in‑app and in App Store Connect.
5.2 Payment is processed by Apple Inc. You can manage or cancel a subscription via your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged.
5.3 Free trials convert to paid subscriptions if not canceled before the trial ends. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period except where required by law.
You agree NOT to:
(a) Upload or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
(b) Reverse‑engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service;
(c) Use the Service for commercial purposes without our prior written consent;
(d) Interfere with or disrupt servers or networks connected to the Service;
(e) Violate any applicable law or regulation.
The Service may contain links to third‑party websites or services. Ora Labs is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your interactions with them are solely between you and the third party.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. ORA LABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE OR THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE SECURE OR NOT LOST.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORA LABS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) US$50 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO ORA LABS FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold Ora Labs and its affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to Ora Labs or other users. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you terminate immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in San Francisco, California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A CLASS ACTION OR JURY TRIAL.
We may modify or discontinue the Service (or any part) at any time. We may also revise these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you (e.g., in‑app or via email). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14.1 Severability – If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
14.2 Assignment – You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them without restriction.
14.3 Entire Agreement – These Terms, plus any policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ora Labs regarding the Service.
